Self-defence, especially for women, is of utmost importance in the kind of the world we live in today. The women should be aware of the strategies to be adopted under different adverse circumstances.Keeping in mind the safety of school going girls, an orientation programme “Women Self Defence Movement” for the girls of classes-II-XII was conducted at SRCS by Sports Association of Mixed Martial Arts under the Aegis of Indore Police.Mr. Basant (Eklavya Awardee), the resource person in the presence of Veeru Yadav,the Vice president of Sports Association of Mixed Martial Art,SI-Vinod Sharma and along with his crew members shared different strategies of Self Defence.He also gave demonstration that how girls can use these strategies to overcome any worst situation and he advised them to raise their voice against any wrong action instead of ignoring them.
