Great leaders and peoples always inspired common people to follow their food steps, so that world can become better place for living. Whenever humanity needed guidance great personality appeared on the scene to serve and show the path of the liberation and development to ignorant common masses.

This activity was developed to make student aware of the great leaders of different countries, so that students can enrich their experience and can learn good qualities from whole globe.

Great leaders showed great qualities of leadership, honesty, dedication, service which became the light house for whole human race.

Under the whole  curriculum Six different activities were conducted having different exercises but having a common objective of making student aware about the great leaders of the world.

 Power Point Presentation

The curriculum activity-6 - ‘Torch Bearers of the Humanity’ was portrayed through a Power Point Presentation. In this PPT Presentation, brief introductions of various leaders were given to students. This activity was aimed to teach students about the various leaders of different countries and how they served their motherlands in difficult times becoming role models. After the PPT Presentation, a small session was organized in which students were questioned as to which leader inspired them the most.

Quiz competition

We cannot judge how much student learned only by the enthusiasm and response of students. There has to be some measurable parameter by which we can understand that how much students has learned or perceived.
For achieving above mentioned objective, a quiz competition was organized on the content matter which was shown to students by the means of PPT.The result proved that students are not only enjoying but also learning.


Role Play

Role play means an activity in which person play a part of some famous personality. This activity helped the students to gain confidence to speak in front of public. A good orator can motivate and inspire public. Students of SRCS explored about world famous leaders of their choice and tried to explain the course of life of the leader whom they represented. They spoke in the morning assembly in front of entire school and faculty members. This effort of students was appreciated by everybody.

 Group Discussion

Discussion is a very effective means of exchanging views and ideas. When we exchange ideas our thought process gets enriched. Group discussion also increases the logical ability and listening skills of the students. It gives deep understanding of subject and students are able to develop critical thinking. To achieve all the above mentioned objective a Group Discussion on the topic “ Qualities of the great leaders was organized”. In this activity students tried to discuss the qualities which are common in all the leaders across the globe.
Each student tried to describe the quality of the great leader like honesty, creative thinking, taking responsibility, dedication which made leaders different from the hoi polloi.
Students after the discussion tried to find the differences between Indian leaders and world leaders. Students applied their analytical skills to find out differences and similarities between Indian leaders and world leaders..   

Collage making

Under the aegis of ISA Activity- ‘Torch Bearers of Humanity’ collage making activity was conducted at SRCS. This was the chance and opportunity for the creative minds to show cases their talent. Under this activity, students collected the pictures of the leaders of the different countries and presented them on the sheet. With many leaders appearing on the single sheet of the paper and creative minds of the students made simple sheet of paper radiant with art and Knowledge. This simple sheet of paper got converted into the complete kaleidoscope of great leaders who motivated and guided the humanity to become better.

 

 

 Annual Function  -  

 

The 6th Annual Functon of Shri Ram Centennial School, Indore - “Avant-Garde’ - was aslo a part of ISA activity that was celebrated with a cultural presentaton on 10th November 2019.In her address to the audience, the Principal SRCS,Ms. Pujari stressed upon the importance of Indian history and its relevance in the current times.The evening was the show put by the students. It was based on life of the Indian warrior - king Chhatrapati Shivaji. The drama had wonderful costumes, and excellent backdrops.Taking the audience back to the 400-year old era of Maratha glory, the mega-play traced thelife of Shivaji right from his birth to his coronation as Chhatrapti in 1674, during the Mughal era.Numerous episodes from Shivaji's life with captivating background music and masterly performances by the students of SRCS made the play a real treat.
